Rainbow moonstone has a gentle, calming energy.

Other Characteristics: Realgar is unstable in light; specimens should be stored in complete darkness, rarely some specimens fluoresce under UV light and crystals are pleochroic between dark red and orange red.

Notable Occurrences include most importantly Hunan Province, China; but also Switzerland; Japan; Macedonia; Mercur, Utah, USA; Romania and many other localities.

Rhodocrosite

This stone promotes love, peace and energy.
It soothes the emotions and de-stresses.
Rhodochrosite is thought of as a spiritual body gemstone, it offers a higher frequency of energy which enters and moves throughout our spiritual bodies.
Gold for wisdom, orange for creativity, and pink for love.
When you are drawn to Rhodochrosite it means that you are ready to learn more about your own spirituality and work to bring this energy into your heart.
In a crystal healing layout, it is generally placed between your heart and solar plexus center, as it will act as a bridge to balance into these energy centers.

Crystal Habits include the typical rhombic dodecahedron. also seen is the 24 sided trapezohedron.
Combinations of these forms are common and sometimes the rare faces of the hexoctahedron, a 48 sided crystal habit that rarely is seen by itself, can also combine with these other forms making very attractive, complex and multifaceted crystals.
Massive and granular occurrences are also common.
Cleavage is absent.
Fracture is conchoidal.
Specific Gravity is approximately 3.6 (above average for translucent minerals)

Rutilite is a fine crystal and possesses a blazing luster.
